Coal stocks at Ukraine's TPPs 3.5% up over week

Coal stocks in the warehouses of thermal power plants (TPP) of Ukraine from November 20 until November 27, 2016 increased by 3.5%, from 1.871 million tonnes to 1.936 million tonnes, Ukrenergo has reported.
In particular, anthracite coal stocks rose by 0.9%, to 940,000 tonnes (including 123,000 tonnes at Luhansk TPP), while gas coal and long-flame coal stocks grew by 6.1%, to 996,000 tonnes (including 125,000 tonnes at Burshtyn TPP).
Ukrenergo said energy consumption in the morning of November 27 was 21.308 GW, while 37 coal power units and two turbine generators at the TPPs generated 7.234 GW. Nuclear power plants (NPPs) showed a capacity of 9.976 GW, hydroelectric power plants 1.783 GW, combined heat and power plants 2.120 MW and alternative energy units 195 MW.
Exports from the Burshtyn TPP energy island on November 20 stood at 163 MW. No exports to Poland, Belarus, Moldova and Russia were reported.
