SPF: Atlgen wins tender to privatize Kostiantynivska HPP

Altgen LLC has won a tender to privatize Kostiantynivska hydroelectric power plant (HPP) located on the Southern Bug River paying UAH 64 million for the plant, the press service of Ukraine's State Property Fund (SPF) has reported.
A total of 16 companies (one was not permitted to participate in the tender) took part in it.
The starting price was UAH 13.8 million. The fund managed to increase the price to UAH 40 million.
Altgen is part of a group of companies since 2012 involved in power generation and operating four HPPs in Khmelnytsky region.
The group is building three more HPPs in Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions.
According to the unified public register, the owners of Altgen are Vitaliy Matiykov, Serhiy Tsuhel, Volodymyr Lisny, Natalia Mykhailenko and Dmytro Yurtsevych.
Tsuhel also owns Energoperspektyva generating company LLC. This company is operating HPP in Khmelnytsky region and building HPP in Ternopil region.
Kostiantynivska HPP with a capacity of less than 5 MW is located in Mykolaiv region.
