Kyiv budget revenues stand at UAH 27.8 bln in nine months of 2016

Kyiv budget revenues in January-September 2016 amounted to UAH 27.8 billion, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

"This is 118% of the plan for nine months," he said at a session of Kyiv City Council.

In this regard, the mayor proposed to increase the revenue part of the city budget by UAH 3 billion, as well as costs on several directions.

According to him, in particular, it is proposed to allocate UAH 13.3 million to increase the size of one-time financial assistance to the families of the deceased participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and the Heavenly Hundred heroes, UAH 23.6 million for preferential transportation of certain categories of citizens.

It is planned to additionally allocate UAH 10 million for purchase of medicines, in particular, for the Cancer Center, as part of the Health of Kyiv Residents program. At the same time, funding for organizing and hosting Eurovision 2017 is to be raised by UAH 50 million.

The financing of current expenditure of educational institutions in the capital will be increased by UAH 85.8 million, while financial support for municipal enterprises for the maintenance and servicing of the housing stock foresees an extra UAH 448 million.
