PrivatBank needs no additional capitalization

Ukraine's largest Dnipro-based PrivatBank does not require additional capitalization, Chairman of the bank's board Oleksandr Dubilet said on the sidelines of the Road Map conference on crediting in Ukraine, which was organized by the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"Our bank has got the need to conduct a policy coordinated with the NBU [National Bank of Ukraine], which is related to additional collateral for some loans. We've already solved the issue of capitalization," he said.
As was reported, PrivatBank's profit in January-March 2016 amounted to UAH 211 million, whereas it was UAH 6 million in the same period of 2015.
PrivatBank was founded in 1992. Its largest stockholders as of January 1, 2016, were Hennadiy Boholiubov, who owns 33.2525% directly and 8.3346% indirectly, and Ihor Kolomoisky with 41.6572% directly and 8.3346% indirectly.
The bank ranked first among 109 operating banks as of April 1, 2016, with overall assets worth UAH 276.55 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
