The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a bill on grid connection and licensing procedures that would relax and accelerate the existing procedure.

Secondly, we will switch from receiving permits to the notification system. Consumers simply notify that they are connected to power grids and they automatically receive permits to interfere public amenities," he said.

Zubko said that the bill foresees the reduction of the terms for discussing the application on grid connection to up to three days. The terms for connecting the first tier power capacity are 15 working days, that for the second tier – 25 days and the third tire – 35 days.

"If it is required to build or provide additional capacity, the term is 135 working days," he said.
