Coal stocks at DTEK 1.5 times more than last year stocks

Coal stocks at warehouses of thermal power plants of the largest private energy holding DTEK as of morning on December 14, 2015 reached 1.405 million tonnes, which is 50% more from a year ago, the company said on Tuesday.
"Supplies of anthracite and semi-anthracite coal from coalmines DTEK Sverdlovantracit, DTEK Rovenkiantracit and Komsomolets Donbasu were resumed from December 10. As of December 14, 1,208 wagons with coal crossed the front line – this is 74,000 tonnes of anthracite," the company said in a press release.
In the coming days, coal will arrive to thermal power plants boosting the current anthracite stocks being 470,000 tonnes mow, while the stocks of gas coal reach 920,000 tonnes and its supplies remain stable.
"DTEK's thermal power plants consuming gas coal [DTEK Burshtyn, Dobrotvirska, Ladyzhyn, Zaporizhia, Kurakhivska and Myronivska thermal power plants] have enough coal, coal supplies are stable and allow operating in winter," DTEK said.
According to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine, coal stocks at thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants of Ukraine reached 2.383 million tonnes as of December 14, 2015, which is 70.8% up year-over-year.
