Cabinet proposes increasing ecological tax, fee for using radio frequencies, royalty for use of natural resources
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has registered amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine foreseeing indexation of rates for the use of radio frequency spectrum by 26.7% (by the consumer price index) and some other tax rates for the use of natural resources and it proposed the introduction of their mandatory annual indexation.
"As for the fee for the use of radio frequency spectrum: the indexation of rates by the consumer price index (26.7%0 and the introduction of the annual tax rate indexation," states the explanatory note to draft law No. 3630 on the creation of competitive conditions in taxation and stimulation of economic operations in Ukraine registered in the parliament on December 11, 2015.
It is planned that the ecological tax will be indexed in the same way.
Additionally, the cabinet proposed that the rate for the use of deposits in the purposes that are not linked with extraction of mineral deposits will be indexed by the industrial price index (26.5%), as well as royalty for the special use of forest resources and the royalty for the special use of water.
The annual indexation of the above-mentioned rates will be introduced.
