Germany and France to help restore Donbas banking system

Germany and France have pledged to help restore the banking system in the conflict-stricken parts of Ukraine, according to a declaration which was adopted by the Russian, German, French and Ukrainian leaders in the Belarusian capital Minsk on Thursday.

Germany and France will provide technological support needed to revive the banking system in conflict-torn regions of Ukraine by establishing possible international mechanisms to pay social benefits, the document says.
