Boryspil airport transfers flights of all international airlines to terminal D

Boryspil International Airport state-run company (Kyiv) with the start of the summer season (from March 31, 2013) has transferred flights of all international airlines to Terminal D, the airport's press service has reported.

The press service said that flights of Aeroflot, EL AL, S7 Airlines, Azerbaijan Hava Yollari, Air Moldova, "Belavia", Astra Airlines and Somon Air were transferred to the servicing to Terminal D.

"It will be noted that the process of the transfer of flights to Terminal D was started in August 2012. The large-scale transfer of the largest international airlines was carried out at the beginning of the winter navigation schedule," reads the press release of the airport.

Today, Terminal D services flights of 31 airlines, which perform up to 75 flights a day, in particular, Air Arabia, Fir Astana, Astra Airlines, Aeroflot, Armavia, Air France, Azerbaijan Hava Yollari, Austrian Airlines, Alitalia, British Airways, Belavia, Air Baltic, Czech Airlines, Lufthansa, Estonian Air, El Al, Fly Dubai, Fly Georgia, KLM, LOT, Air Moldova, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Royal Jordanian Airlines, S7 Airlines, Rossiya, Turkish Airlines, Turkmenistan Airlines , UTair (Russia), UTair Ukraine, Uzbekistan Havo Jullary and Scat Airlines.

In April it is planned to transfer Ukraine Mediterranean Airlines to Terminal D and then Ukraine International Airlines and Windrose airlines will be transferred.

"Now the preparations for supporting the operations of the airlines during the transfer to the servicing to the new terminal are being conducted. After the completion of the process, all international passenger flow, apart from passengers of low-cost airlines, will be serviced at Terminal D," the press service said.

At present, Terminal B services only domestic flights, the press service reminded.

Boryspil International Airport is the main airport of the country and services 65% of the passenger air traffic in Ukraine. It is the only airport in Ukraine from which intercontinental flights are performed.
