UIA flight schedule almost fully restored

As of Monday morning, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has almost fully resumed flights that were canceled on March 24 because of severe weather conditions at Boryspil International Airport outside Kyiv.
There are still cases of delays of flights from Boryspil Airport because the flight schedule was disrupted on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, due to force majeure.
The relevant information on arrivals and departures is available on Boryspil Airport's official Web site.
"UIA has made and will make every effort to ensure all passengers reach their destination as soon as possible. All transfer passengers currently staying in Kyiv Boryspil airport transit area have been provided with food and accommodation at hotels of the airport and in Kyiv until their actual departure," the company's press release reads.
UIA asks its passengers to bear with the difficulties caused by the extreme weather.
"Please note that passengers who have tickets for cancelled UIA flights can rebook tickets for another departure date as soon as flight operation is renewed, provided that seats are available. Passengers are invited to contact UIA ticket offices located at Terminal F of Kyiv Boryspil International airport, or contact UIA call center in Kyiv regarding the changes in the departure date," the press service said.
Passengers intending to return their tickets can contact their ticket marketer and receive the refund.
UIA was founded in 1992. As of today, it has been fully privatized.
Its fleet consists of 21 medium-haul Boeing-737 aircraft. It is based at Boryspil airport.
