Some UAH 100 b to be spent on infrastructure projects in 2013, says Azarov

Around UAH 100 billion will be spent on the implementation of infrastructure projects in the regions in 2013, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

"We're planning to invest around UAH 100 billion in 2013, which is a huge sum, and we're planning to spend it on infrastructure development. I mean the development of the infrastructure in regional centers and a number of our cities," he told journalists in Kyiv on Tuesday, following a visit to the construction site of a trade and leisure center Ocean Plaza.

The premier noted that the sum would include funds from the national and local budgets, as well as private investments.

Azarov also said that building of modern cultural, sports and leisure centers in districts centers and small towns was a priority.
