FUIB launches acceptance of non-cash payments via smartphone following its competitors

The service of using a smartphone as a POS terminal is now available at FUIB (Kyiv) using the mobile application "FUIB Terminal," the bank's press service said on Tuesday.

"Now the bank's clients, having downloaded the FUIB Terminal application, can receive payment for their goods and services simply through their existing smartphone on the Android operating system, equipped with an NFC chip," the bank said.

As reported, the service of accepting contactless payments via a smartphone on the Android operating system has already been implemented by Raiffeisen Bank, Oschadbank, Universal Bank (mono) and A-Bank. According to Visa, the only financial institution where the use of a smartphone on the iPhone operating system as a POS terminal is available is PrivatBank.
