Ukraine will again offer foreign traders up to 10 billion cubic meters of capacity of its underground gas storage (UGS) facilities in 2024.

"As last year, we offer foreign clients up to 10 billion cubic meters of free volume in our underground gas storage facilities. In fact, this is a third of the capacity of Ukraine's underground gas storage facilities," Naftogaz said in its Telegram channel on Tuesday.

The group takes part in the E-world energy & water exhibition in Germany offering its products and services.

"Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities are presented at the exhibition for the first time. We have our own stand and about 20 pre-planned meetings with energy companies and traders. We systematically convince them to increase storage volumes, because, as experience showed last year, it is profitable and safe," Naftogaz said.

The company also said that the goal for the current year is to double the volumes of gas that foreign traders store in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities.
